Partnership & PromisesThe public declaration of love and commitment is a very powerful ritual. When your community hears, and holds your promises in their hearts, a stronger bond is forged; held in place by the scaffolding of those who surround you in every day life. You become known in society as ‘Husband’ or ‘Wife’ or ‘Committed Partner’, and who you are for yourself, and others, alters.
There are a variety of Love Unions you can choose from. These are:
Wedding
The most common form of union. A wedding entails the public declaration of commitment coupled with the legal binding of individuals into a married unit.
Commitment Ceremony
A commitment ceremony can be everything that a wedding is, without the legal component. If you want the wedding but don’t want the governmental involvement that comes with being married, a commitment ceremony might be what you’re after.
Vow Renewal
Maybe you are already married and want to publicly declare your unending commitment to your beloved. Perhaps you have been through a bumpy patch in your marriage and want to recommit to your union. A vow renewal is for people who are legally married and want to have another ceremony to renew their vows.
Engagement Party
Someone said “Will you?” and the other person said “I will!!”. This for sure is a reason to party!! The shift in status from ‘boyfriend’ / ‘girlfriend’ to ‘fiancé’ is a big step in any relationship and is often accompanied by a public declaration and celebration!
Divorce Ceremony
Although generally given with the utmost sincerity and positive intentions, not all “I do’s” turn into ‘Happily Ever Afters’. Officially rescinding your vows and commitment can be a very liberating and empowering event. While most couples who split quietly exit stage left, there is so much power in declaring the show complete publicly, taking a bow, and spending time to acknowledge the cast and crew. Another powerful part of a Divorce Ceremony is to create the next phase of the relationship, and who you are for your community. Hopefully followed by an after party.

As such, I believe your wedding ceremony should be a reflection of the marriage you are committed to creating. All too often people focus on the party planning but pay little attention to the creation of their marriage.
Having worked, coached, and trained people in the world of personal and professional development for the past 16 years, my focus is on the end goal, and what is required to get there. As such, I work closely with couples to explore and define the context for their marriage, future pacing the ‘happy ever after’ and back planning to a wedding celebration that is in true alignment to your long term commitments as partner and family.

About Cassie
I have ridden the rollercoaster of Love, my hair blown back, hands held high up in the air, laughing, squealing, screaming, crying, blissed out and terrified. Experiencing the gamut of emotions associated with living this life with an open heart.
I’ve swooned in love, been cracked open by heartbreak, felt the euphoria of delivering heaven to earth through the birth of my children, ached in grief for the loss of my loved ones.
What is clearer for me than ever, is that Love is at the core of it all; and that Love needs to be celebrated!!
The nutshell version of me is that I was born in Byron Bay and have spent most of my life in the area. I am a mother of 3 boys. I love horse riding, martial arts, belly dance, and singing. I love travelling and learning about different cultures and people so I've lived overseas for over 5 years and circumnavigated the planet multiple times. After studying business, I spent over a decade in the corporate world before getting knocked off that trajectory by the universe several years ago. Since that time I have come back to my heart and am now following the path that I was put on this earth to travel. That path is to connect to humanity and to expand the conversation of Love throughout the world. I work as a Love Based Leadership Consultant, Coach and Educator, and as a Civil Celebrant. These roles allow me to facilitate and expand people's fullest expression of Love; and that is a beautiful thing!
As a Civil Celebrant, it is my absolute privilege and joy to facilitate these conversations and rituals of Love and commitment. As a program leader and educator, I’ve presented to thousands of people, but for me, nothing beats the intimacy of the conversations that are had between a marrying couple at the front of that room. The welcome and promises made to a new born baby by their community. Holding a grieving family through the process of losing one of their own. This is my heart work and I love it!
